Our Story – From Chaska Dreams to Insurance Wins

Once upon a time in the land of 10,000 Lakes, a group of insurance wizards decided Chaska deserved something special. That’s when Options.Health was born! As part of the Options-Insurance.com family, we set out to make health and Medicare insurance as easy as a walk through Carver Park – and way more fun than shoveling snow.

Our mission? To give Minnesotans like you personalized plans without the fuss. We’ve been at it for years, helping folks from Chaska to beyond find coverage that fits their lives, their budgets, and their favorite doctors. Along the way, we’ve built a team that’s as passionate about people as we are about policies. Today, we’re your local experts with a heart for community – because in Chaska, we take care of each other.

We’re Medicare and MNSure certified assisters. Our certifications keep us up to date on insurance plans and regulation changes to help us find the best option for you and your family. Our services come at no cost to you, we’re paid by the insurance company to service your policy. Bio: Erik’s been unraveling the mysteries of MNSure, Medicare, and Small Group plans for years, making insurance mayhem make sense faster than you can say “You betcha!” A Chaska resident, he’s often found hunting in the woods, fishing on Lake Waconia, or kicking back with his two cats. When he’s not rocking the insurance world, he’s in the kitchen cooking up a storm or checking off tasks on his honey-do list with a grin. Ask him anything – he’s got answers, a smile, and a passion for getting things done!

Fun Fact: He once crushed the office Hot Ones Wing Challenge like a champ.

Tippy “She Medi-Cares” Sourignavong

Role: Medicare Magician

Bio: Tippy turns life and health insurance into a moment of "Ah-ha!" right before your eyes! She brings the comfort magically right in front of you with the right coverage choices for you and your family! She’ll find you the perfect Medicare, MNSure, or life insurance plan. Raised in the Twin Cities since she was seven, she’s a boy mom and a pro at explaining deductibles over the spiciest food you could imagine. You’ll leave every chat with a plan – she’ll pull a rabbit out of a hat if she needs to!

Fun Fact: She also speaks Lao and Thai. She’s an amazing cook and drives a stick shift!

Tom “The Wizard” Wertish

Role: The Man Behind the Curtain

Bio: Tom’s been cracking the Medicare code for over a decade, turning confusion into clarity faster than you can say “Uff da!” These days he’s training Erik, Janel and Tippy to be local insurance heroes. Tom lives in Chanhassen with his wife and three kids. He’s active on the local bike trails and races mountain bikes.

Fun Fact: He was voted most likely to host his own infomercial in high school.

Janel “The Guiding Light” Morris

Role: Life Insurance Extraordinaire
